The project aims to explore innovative practices in game-based learning in higher education. It will critically analyse the theoretical foundations of game-based learning and its current application in professional training and adult learning.
The research aims for this project:
- Can game-based learning become an appropriate resource for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching?
- What are the benefits of developing ad hoc game resources for the Higher Education sector?
- The role of students in the game development and evaluation process
- Can a game engage students on topics such as the evaluation of academic resources and the research and construction of bibliographies?
